Board of Education - Lynn Fairfield-Sonn:  Lynn Fairfield-Sonn is a longtime resident of Old Lyme and was first elected to the Board of Education in 2000.  Ms. Fairfield-Sonn has initiated the Strategic Plan for the BOE and has served as a very effective Chairperson, leading District #18 through the Renovation project of all of our schools.

Board of Education - Mary Stone: Mary first became actively involved with the Board of Education when she took the training course to be able to videotape the Board of Education meetings for public access TV.  She spent numerous hours taping the meetings in the hopes that more people would become aware, and participate in the process.  Her involvement led her to become a board member, developing the award-winning newsletter, "The District Report".  This newsletter has kept all residents informed of current happenings in District #18.

Zoning Commission - Eric Fries: Eric Fries has been a dedicated member of the Zoning Commission for the past 16 years, serving as both Vice Chair and Chairman within those years.  He is a fair-minded, hard-working gentleman who believes in doing what is best for Old Lyme.
